Great place to park your RV and enjoy a quiet evening in beautiful surroundings. James was very accommodating and helpful. We would stay here again and highly recommend this site.
Excellent park. Mr. Dahlem checked on us the next morning, asking if he could do anything for us. Beautiful setting for a good rest. Recommend it for anyone.
Heading cross country from California, moving to North Carolina; we found Grape Country on Google. What a fantastic find! Best place we have stayed at so far! We called on Saturday night and James answered right away. Friendly, informative, and inviting. We scheduled for a one night stop and wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful area and loved the 2 wineries we had time to visit. We will definitely stay at Grape Country again to enjoy the walking trails, scenery, and the wineries!
Thanks James for your hospitality and a relaxing stay!!
Can't say enough about how great it was to have James taking care of us. Booking was easy and he was a great communicator. He was friendly and accommodating when we needed to modify our dates when our travel days changes too. Couldn't ask for any better for a stop through we needed on our way home to South Carolina from Colorado.
Great piece of property! We stayed overnight with our 40ft 5th wheel, super easy access, quiet, and beautiful views. Owner was so nice! Will stay again on our way through this way.
James is excellent! This is a wonderful spot to stay for an overnight stay, or even a 4 night stay as we did. Lots of wine to taste. Be sure to go visit Peggy Post, or as we refer to her, Miss Peggy, over at Mount Bethel winery. So enjoyable to talk to and their wine is excellent! Definitely go check out the local museum. Small but a ton of stuff in there. If you enjoy Cajun food you definitely need to visit Alligator Rays in town. I’m originally from New Orleans and can attest, the food is excellent! Back to the RV park: excellent location and well done for an easy and wonderful experience!
This has been our second stay here and we love it! James is an awesome host and the park is immaculate with full hook up. Very quiet and peaceful with lovely hiking trails and we are lucky enough to be here for the fall colors. The area is true America with friendly folks and lots of history. We have enjoyed visiting the area wineries for tastings of some really nice wines. There are lots of really good places to eat like general stores and cafes with the best burgers and pies you find anywhere. The park is Class A big rig friendly a bit of paradise just off the I 40 east west route. We love it here!
We stayed overnight on our way to Albuquerque. This park is quite the find! The grounds are immaculate with lots of waking trails for you and your pets. It's in the heart of wine country and the next time through we hope to visit some local wineries. James, the owner is fantastic and stopped by to be sure we were happy. If you are self contained and like nature you can not go wrong staying here.
Lovely area guider and close to I 40 we came in on a Sat and our slit was marked for us and it is very rare to find someone who works on the honor system you put your money in an envelope for the days you stay and deposit them in a lock box very clean and has all hookups and beautiful grounds to wander with a fire pit and picnic tables best place to stay in the area
Quiet safe park. The owner was helpful and friendly. Full hookups that worked well. Lots of trails to walk. The location was good. Not in a real busy area but close enough to things to see and do.
