I stay here for Bikes, Blues and Bar B Q every year. James is the Best Host and the most friendly guy I've ever met.
Super quiet, laid back, right smack-dab in the middle of several Vineyards. If you're lookin for the Party, this ain't it! If you're lookin for a quiet, clean place in a Vineyard Here it is.
I stayed at the Grape Country RV Park 3 nights the last week of August 2022. I really liked it here. The sites are wide enough that you don't feel crowded. It's right off the road yet it's quiet. There are picnic tables, hiking trails to the east. James came by to see if everything was okay or if I needed something. Great guy. The motorcycle in this pare of AR is phenomenal. The Pig Trail is nearby and there are so many other good roads to explore. I would definitely stay here again.
James treated us to a ride to and from the winery. Next visit he provided a place to stay overnight in the dry camping area because the campsites we full. What a novel and great idea for RVs. Definitely the best camp host we have had in over 40 years of camping.
What an incredible experience. Highly, highly recommend. Very quaint, quiet and nature at it's best. James was incredibly hospitable and professional. We will definitely be going back anytime we're on 40 at Exit 143 in Altus, Ark. We cant say enough good things about this place; oh yea and there's a winery right across from the campsite. Thank you again
Level gravel sites with easy full hookups. Location is easily accessed yet off of the beaten path! Great for our dogs. Owner James goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable!
Definitely would return!!!
We stayed at the Grape Country RV park for two nights 4-5 Nov 2021 while looking at some property in the area, and touring the area wineries. The RV property is gorgous, surrounded by vineyards, with fantastic daytime vistas and clear star gazing nights in the heart of Arkansas wine country. Our host James was fantastic, he makes you feel like you are part of the family in sharing access to the surrounding property with hiking trails and picnic areas complete with fire pits and all the firewood free to use. We can't wait to come back!
We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Came to view the fall colors, but we were a week early and leaves had not turned yet! Very easy access from I40 and hookups were convenient. We used the fire pit near our sight and the hiking trail at the back of property was very nice! Owner was congenial and helpful. Our only negative was the water pressure was very low. Got around that by filling our holding tank and using from it! Enjoyed the local winery’s and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church! Very beautiful!
James is the nicest guy around. Communication was great told us what site to pull into and had our name there waiting for us. Easy in and out for our rig. Beauty quiet views. The sunset was amazing. Came out to make sure we were set up ok and didn’t need anything. Told us about some walking trials we could take if we had time. Hubby got up and took the dogs for a walk that morning and said it was beautiful.thanks for a great stay. Will definitely stay again.
We found place to have a rest and stayed for the night. James stopped in to say Hi very nice talking to him. Very nice place to stay. Will come back.
We stayed here for a brief overnight on our way home from a cross country journey. It’s easy to see why this RV park has such wonderful reviews. The RV park is in a beautiful surrounding area, the spaces are big and clean and easy to pull in and out of, the park is warm, inviting and quiet and the owner (James) went above and beyond with offering exceptional service and giving us a large list of wineries and restaurants in the area we should try. Our daughters are doing virtual school at the moment and the WIFI was fast and worked perfectly. We left wishing we could stay longer! This park will definitely be on our list of places to stay next time we pass through the area!
